01 Information We Collect

• Account Information — email address and password managed via Supabase Auth.
• Profile Data — age, height, weight, fitness goals, training experience, and preferences.
• Workout Data — exercise selections, sets, reps, weights, workout history, and training plans.
• Nutrition Data — food log entries, calorie and macronutrient information, meal photos, and dietary preferences.
• Usage Data — feature interactions and AI usage counts used for rate limiting and service improvement.

02 How We Use Your Information

• App Functionality — workout tracking, nutrition logging, progress analytics, and personalized recommendations.
• AI Processing — to generate training plans, provide coaching responses, and parse food entries.
• Cloud Sync — to synchronize your data across devices.
• Service Operations — to enforce rate limits and maintain system reliability.
• Communications — account-related notifications only. No marketing emails without your consent.

03 AI Processing Disclosure

FuelForge uses the Anthropic Claude API to power several features:

• Plan Generation — your profile data is sent to Claude to generate personalized workout plans.
• AI Coach — messages you send are processed by Claude along with relevant context from your profile and training history.
• Food Parsing — text descriptions and photos of meals are sent to Claude for nutritional analysis.

Your data is not used to train AI models. Anthropic's API policies ensure data sent through the API is not used for model training. Data is transmitted securely and processed only to generate responses for your requests.

05 Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database with row-level security (RLS) enforcing per-user data isolation. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. API routes verify your authentication token on every request.

While we implement reasonable security measures, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

06 Your Rights

• Access — view all data stored in your account through the app at any time.
• Export — request a full export of your data by contacting us.
• Deletion — request complete deletion of your account and all associated data within 30 days.
• Correction — update your profile and personal information directly within the app.

07 Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your data from active databases within 30 days. Backups may persist for up to 90 days before being automatically purged.

08 Children's Privacy

FuelForge is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

09 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy within the app or by email. Continued use of FuelForge after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
